About The Host
Josef Schinwald
MIB · MDiv · Bridging the worlds of strategic leadership and ancient wisdom.

Josef Schinwald holds an uncommon combination of credentials: a Master in International Business and a Master of Divinity. This dual formation reflects a lifelong commitment to integrating worldly competence with spiritual depth — and a refusal to accept that the two must be separate.
As the founder of AirtimePR, a strategic podcast guest-placement firm, Josef works at the intersection of thought leadership and media. He helps founders, authors, and advisers articulate their ideas and place them on the world's most influential podcasts.
But Josef created OM By The Beach as something quite different — an editorially independent space where he could explore the world's great wisdom traditions and their practical application to how thoughtful leaders live and lead.
Drawing on Taoism, Hinduism, Buddhism, meditation, and philosophy, the podcast is neither academic nor New-Age. It is a sustained conversation about what it means to develop inner authority — the capacity to lead, decide, and communicate from a place of depth rather than reactivity.
Through long-form solo episodes and conversations with remarkable thinkers, Josef creates a space where accomplished, values-conscious leaders can explore what the great traditions actually offer: not escape from the world, but a deeper engagement with it.
A note on independence
Josef’s firm and this podcast are deliberately kept apart. No guest pays, or is paid, to appear on OM By The Beach, and AirtimePR clients are not booked onto the show as part of any engagement. Where a separate relationship exists, it is disclosed in the episode itself. Read the full editorial policy.

Working with Josef
Apart from OM By The Beach, Josef works with founders, authors and advisers to sharpen what they stand for and place it in front of the right audiences — narrative clarity, positioning, and strategic podcast guest placement — through his firm, AirtimePR.
This work is not connected to appearing on the show. Guests are never booked as part of an engagement. Read the editorial policy.
